They do say every bad situation has a silver lining. Lockdown was one of these, providing everyone a chance to reevaluate everything they do. For Sabrina and Lisa, after just completing another creative endeavour and thriving as a team, the concept of Laila blossomed over the course of one evening (and with the help of a few glasses of wine). That night, the seed to relaunch old Laila to what has now become one of Scotland’s top brunch restaurant was planted, a Middle Eastern influenced brunch and lunch location nestled on one of the most beautiful streets in Edinburgh, at the heart of The Old Town, Royal Mile.
